My Name is Betty, I have been around animals since I was 10 years old. I have
work with many different Veterinarians over the years and would like to share
with you my story, and love for this wonderful bred The Yorkshire Terrier who
stole my heart as a child,of course I was dreaming. Than it happen for me, I Got my
very first Yorkie. She was a spirited, loyal, and quite the little Charmer! Her paw
prints are all over my heart Like Forrest Gump said, we were like peas and
carrots. I was hers, and she was my heart. Tiffany had a few problems and It was
than I decided someday I wanted to breed beautiful Yorkshire Terriers.
Researching the breed, and to do what I could to make it better. I today know a
few breeders who goal is the same. I am thankful, and blessed to be owned by all
my Yorkshire Terriers Today. They are truly a loyal devoted, and fearless little
Breed. Once I could I started searching for two as near to perfection of the breed
standard I could find, I knew this wasn't going to be cheap or easy. You see, I
didn't just want nice top lines, ear set, and a pretty face. No!!! My desire is
breeding only, the Breed Standard as a whole... Not bits and pieces of the breed.
I wanted To breed Yorkshire Terriers with not only sound Structure. I wanted to
bred the Yorkshire Terrier In all it's charming, beauty and glory and lets not forget
that attitude that makes them so spacial.
Devoted to this breed Yes, with all my heart.... We strive for Yorkies that will
become companions everyone can't, so we place them in devoted loving homes.
We are dedicated to maintaining the integrity and quality of the Yorkshire Terrier.
We are always striving for the betterment of the breed, at Story Book Yorkies we
are very devoted to having very high standards,when it comes to the health and
happiness
of our Yorkshire Terriers,this we do not take lightly. I do show my own Yorkies
and have a handler also.
I have bred and raised Yorkies for 35 plus yrs. My Yorkies are our pride and
joy,raised as part of the family in our home where they receive the utmost
care,love and attention each and every day. We are working,playing and training
our Yorkie puppies for their future happiness, if it is a show stopper or as a
loving companion.
I can not express enough how very special our Yorkies are to us, as a
responsible breeder it is our duty to see that they receive proper socialization to
sounds, people,children and other animals, insurance that their transformation
from our home to yours is a more comfortable,happy experience for you and your
Yorkie puppy.
Our lineage is from- Clarkwyn, Northshire, Rothby, Durrers, Jentre, Lake Buena
Vista to name a few.
Story Book Yorkies is located in Western Kentucky. Puppies available

It can be said that the pinnacle of success, or at least the ultimate
dream of every reputable Yorkshire breeder is to breed a dog so
wonderful and nearly perfect that he could win Best in Show at
Weestminster Kennel Club.

true was the heart they gave him. Though coated with soft, shining blue and gold fit for a queens parlor - this
little one seldom stays beautiful with grass, dirt and holes to explore. Being designed as companions to
Yorkshire's weavers small homes - this small fellow handled the vermin population which sought food in the
residences around the Factories and mills.
We dedicate this site to this loving , lifelong companion. If ever a man was meant to
have a dog so perfect a friend - it would be the Yorkshire Terrier
